Tuesday's Morning Call for JUSTICE AND THE U.N.

Unarmed And Dangerous? On Trayvon Martin, ALEC, and the NRA

In 2005, when Florida was considering its insane stand-your-ground-or-perhaps-chase-down-an-innocent-black-teenager-and-shoot-him law, state senator Dan Gelber was a voice of reason. Gelber, when asked what he thought of legislation that would transmogrify many a heat-packing Floridian into a juiced-up Judge Dredd, posed some questions of his own.

Today Is National Autism Awareness Day

today's action

Light It Up Blue

An estimated 1 in 88 children is affected by autism, but we still have barely begun to understand its causes. Today, it's more important than ever to raise awareness and shine a light on autism.

In honor of World Autism Awareness Day, iconic landmarks around the world will Light It Up Blue to show their support for this growing public health concern -- from the Cairo Tower in Egypt and the Paris Stock Exchange, to the Empire State Building in New York and the Sydney Opera House. Front porches and local city halls will also be lighting up blue.

For today's Daily Action, celebrate World Autism Awareness Day and Light It Up Blue!-->http://www.care2.com/dailyaction/primary.html?da%5Btoday%5D=2012-04-02

Thank God, Both my sons were born healthy, but for those who were born with one descease or another they and their families need our support and encouragement--Not Pity. They need Health Care--so hopefully and prayerfully the Supreme Court will not overturn 'ObamaCare' it may not be absolutely perfect--but it is a perfect step in the right direction  of caring for our citizens--instead of throwing families to the Wolves of Big Business that Health Insurance has become.
