IN SUPPORT OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD

ONE THING THAT IS START TO GET ME ANGRY--VERY ANGRY--VERY VERY ANGRY IS HOW MUCH THE GOVERNMENT SUPPORTS AND FINANCES ALL THE MANY MANY PILLS THAT BOOST A MAN'S TESTOSTRONE--BUT GOD FORBID THERE IS AS MUCH AS A FRACTIONAL SUPPORT FOR BIRTH CONTROL FOR WOMEN---AS IF-AS IF EVERY MAN WHO IS WORRIED ABOUT HAVING SEX IS HAVING SEX WITH HIS WIFE--AS IF-AS IF-AS IF EVERY WOMAN WHO DOES NOT WANT TO GET PRENANT, BUT STIL WANTS SEX-IS SINGLE. THIS DOUBLE STANDARD THE FAR RIGHT/THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT HAS TO END AND THEY CAN TAKE HUMAN EXCEPTIONALISM WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the day it was signed into law, House Republicans have done everything they could to delay, dismantle, and defund the Affordable Care Act.

And now that some people are experiencing glitches on the healthcare.gov website, these same lawmakers are full of blustery outrage over what isn't working. Rather than working to fix it, they're assigning blame. Some are even calling on Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius to resign — and calling her to testify in front of the House today.

The truth is, these politicians don't care about fixing the law. They're not interested in Secretary Sebelius' efforts to expand access to health care. And they don't care about the fact that millions have been visiting healthcare.gov and the state marketplace sites. They just want to score political points, discredit Obamacare, and distract from what's important: making sure all Americans can access affordable health care.

Even before the new marketplaces went live, Obamacare was already making a difference for millions of Americans. Birth control is now available without copay to millions, and lifesaving cancer screenings and well-woman visits are now considered preventive care — covered by law as part of your premium.

That's why it's so important to address what isn't working as soon as possible, not waste time pointing fingers, grandstanding, and delaying efforts to get women and families covered. Make sure they hear from you today.

Together we can make sure all Americans can sign up for accessible, affordable health care, no matter what. Thank you for standing up for women's health once again.

Sincerely,

In Support of the Economy--one family at a time.

THIS IS WHY REPUBLICANS NEED AND MUST BE VOTED OUT OF OFFICE>>>>>>

THE DAILY REPORT

Post-Shutdown, Some Conservatives Pledge To Continue Fight Against ACA

October 18, 2013 — Although the bipartisan agreement reached this week to end the federal government shutdown largely defeated a Republican effort to defund the Affordable Care Act (PL 111-148) some conservative lawmakers on Thursday pledged to continue their efforts against the law in upcoming budget negotiations, the Washington Post reports (Eilperin, Washington Post, 10/17).
In an interview on Fox News' "Hannity," Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said, "We have missed a golden opportunity to do something about it. But we haven't given up the fight." He urged U.S. residents "not [to] feel depressed" about the outcome because "[w]e are going to prevail on this issue. It is just a matter of time" (Cox, "Hill Tube," The Hill, 10/17).
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in an interview with ABC News on Thursday said, "I would do anything, and I will continue to do anything to stop the train wreck that is Obamacare." When asked if he would consider another shutdown over the law, Cruz said, "What I intend to do is continue to stand with the American people working to stop Obamacare" (Blake, "Post Politics," Washington Post, 10/17).
Meanwhile, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), in an interview on Fox News' "America's Newsroom," vowed to use "every opportunity" to push for vote on a measure that would bar federal lawmakers and their staff from receiving employer contributions in the exchanges. He said, "I guarantee you [my proposal] will be back," adding, "I'm not going away and this issue is certainly not going away" (Viebeck, "Hill Tube," The Hill, 10/17).
Sen. Minority Leader McConnell Quells Shutdown Talk .......

Either the republicans just do get the fact that there are Many United States Citizens who Need Health Care or they are only representing Big Businesses who only care about their bottom line and lining their own pockets, especially insurance companies who if they had their own way would only collect money and not pay any medical bills at all, except for their own Executives.

After all, if--IF The Republican Party was truly 'pro-life' they would be Pro-ObamaCare!!!

The one and only reason they are against abortions is God Forbid a teenage girl continue her education--God forbid their is not an under class of uneducated women who need to work menial--low wage-- jobs and easily exploitable.  After all, the rich need cheap maids and cheap nannies.

The Post Scribe---Temper tantrum is over. Permit me to share my current audio book--Accounting Ethics By Ronald Duska, Brenda Shay Duska.

I am finding it is a very good listen. There are many things to think about. I can only hope and pray that the person who is behind the no stop ads mascaraing as comments gets around to either listening or reading it, because they are behaving in the most UN-Ethical manner. Truly successful businesses do not need to resort to her tactics--they can afford to pay for their ads.

IN SUPPORT OF GUN SANITY--WHETHER FACEBOOK LIKES IT OR NOT!!!!!

Well, I tried going through Facebook, but It Looks Like The NRA also owns Facebook--My attempts at posting were blocked--So instead of sharing there--I am posting my support here--With the hope that the word gets out>>>>>> SUPPORT IS NEEDED!!!!

DEAR READERS, PLEASE, FOR THEIR SAKE AND OTHERS-An ounce of prevention is still worth a pound of cure --
One year ago today, my sister Zina was murdered by her abusive estranged husband. The restraining order she had against him should have prevented him from getting a gun, but he was able to buy one online without a background check.
I'm going back to Washington, DC to share my sister's story with leaders in Congress.
I'll tell them that they can close the loopholes in our laws that allow dangerous people, like my sister's killer, to get guns -- and that simple, common-sense solutions would prevent others from experiencing this kind of tragedy.
Together, we can make sure that more women's stories don't end the way that Zina's did. And one of the most important things you can do to make sure that Congress acts is to share the stories of survivors and women like my sister......
But, yet, in this weekend's edition of Stow Sentry, my local newspaper--one John D. Alboreo wrote that we should defeat the levy that would provide more police protection, because of his paranoid fears of a 'Police State' what he called for was more gun ownership--as if there are not already too many guns in the U.S.-IF WE ARE NOT CAREFUL IF WE DO NOT WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE THAT NOT EVERYONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO OWN A WEAPON AND THAT GUNS ARE THE PROBLEM NOT THE SOLUTION---WE WILL HAVE A SHOOT OUT THAT WILL PUT THE 'GUNFIGHT AT THE O.K. CORAL TO SHAME!!! THE QUESTION BECOMES HOW MANY PEOPLE NEED TO BE MURDERED BY GUNS BEFORE THAT HAPPENS!!!!

After Sparking Outrage in Detroit, Koch Brothers’ Tar Sands Waste Now Piling Up in Chicago
           Written by Kiley Kroh
Petroleum coke, a byproduct of tar sands refining, is building up along Chicago’s Calumet River and alarming residents, reported Midwest Energy News.
Petroleum coke is a high-carbon, high-sulfur byproduct of Canadian tar sands that are shipped from Alberta to the U.S. to be refined and is rapidly becoming a cause for concern in Chicago. “It’s growing by leaps and bounds,” Southeast Environmental Task Force member Tom Shepherd, told Midwest Energy News. “It’s coming at a breathtaking rate.”

Pro-Choice=Pro-Family=Pro-ObamaCare!!!

Today I went to the mail box and received my propaganda letter for those who claim to be 'pro-life', but from the contents of the letter they should have called themselves 'Anti-Choice' and 'Anti-Truth.

How This Life Legal Defense Foundation get away with these False Accusations is beyond me They Claim to be defenders of Civil Liberties, but yet, they are the ones who would Strip a Woman of her Right To Chose when to start her family and would Strip her and her husband of the choice of how many children they will have.

They Are Right about one thing--Time is not on their side--Only the older generations fear Women's Rights--They are the majority in the Un-holy Alliance between the Religious Right and The Big Businesses that Support the Tea Party.

Which reminds me, They, the Modern day Pharisees and the Modern day Sadducees must know of their roots--After all, Why else Would Bill Reilly Re-Write the life of Jesus in his book. As if the money changers that got Jesus so mad were tax collectors. As if there were not sacrifices in the Temple in those days.

Old Testament - The Five Offerings

"The Five Offerings in the Old Testament ... To state it another way, there were sacrifices of expiation (sin offerings and trespass offerings), consecration (burnt ..."

The tax was initially imposed by Roman Emperor Vespasian as one of the measures against Jews as a result of the First Roman-Jewish War of 66–73 CE. Vespasian imposed the tax in the aftermath of the Jewish revolt (Josephus BJ 7. 218; Dio Cassius 66.7.2). The tax was imposed on all Jews throughout the empire, not just on those who took part in the revolt against Rome. The tax was imposed after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE in place of the levy (or Tithe) payable by Jews towards the upkeep of the Temple. The amount levied was two denarii, equivalent to the one-half of a shekel that observant Jews had previously paid for the upkeep of the Temple of Jerusalem (Exodus 30:13). The tax was to go instead to the Temple of Capitoline Jupiter, the major center of ancient Roman religion. The fiscus Iudaicus was a humiliation for the Jews.[citation needed] In Rome, a special procurator known as procurator ad capitularia Iudaeorum was responsible for the collection of the tax.[2] Only those who had abandoned Judaism were exempt from paying it.

Personally, I find it more than just Ironic, down right evil that so many get so angry that women have access to birth control, yet time and time again, I have sat through one commercial after another advertising Testosterone therapy for men. WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT THAT MEN MUST KEEP THEIR SEX DRIVES IN HIGH GEAR, YET SO EVIL THAT WOMEN WOULD WANT TO HAVE SEX WITHOUT BEARING CHILDREN????

THIS PROVES HOW FAR WE HAVE YET TO COME FOR GENDER EQUALITY!!!!

POST SCRIBE--I AM PASSING ON THIS EMAIL, WITH THE HOPE AND PRAYER THAT OTHERS WILL SUPPORT THIS MOST WORTHY CAUSE--SO PLEASE, IF YOU CAN, PLEASE JOIN IN DONATING TO>>>>

You had a state representative say...it’s as destructive to personal and individual liberty as the Fugitive Slave Act.” —President Barack Obama referring to New Hampshire representative Bill O'Brien's comments on the Affordable Care Act (ACA).1
As the government shutdown enters its seventh day, the right wing has gone beyond any reasonable attempt to debate policy. Instead, far right republicans continue their reckless political ploy to undermine Obamacare and President Obama's authority. Meanwhile, workers and the most vulnerable among us are suffering as a result of their high-stakes gamesmanship. They want to destroy Obamacare not for what it does, but for what it represents. Placing access to healthcare on a continuum with slavery is unacceptable. We can expose the far right's dangerous agenda and not allow hateful rhetoric to shape public opinion.
The ACA reforms the entire healthcare industry by encouraging doctors and hospitals to give better care to more people, and puts the money saved into expanding coverage. This will lead to expanded preventive care for 7.3 million Black folks with private insurance, the 4.5 million with Medicare, and the nearly 7 million most vulnerable who previously lacked insurance.2
The facts about the ACA did not deter U.S. Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana, who agreed twice last week that the Affordable Care Act was worse than slavery.3 Rep. Fleming's comments are a slap in the face to his constituents. In the first two years after the ACA's passage, 206,000 people in Rep. Fleming's district received preventive services without paying any co-pays, coinsurance, or deductibles. And as many as 39,000 children with preexisting health conditions can no longer be denied coverage by health insurers because of Obamacare.4
Paying the country’s bills is Congress' job, and as President Obama said, "You don't get to extract a ransom for doing your job."5 Together, we can hold the right wing responsible for its offensive rhetoric and challenge their destructive political tactics.
Thanks and Peace,

This Is One I am deeply Sorry for This Behavior Please Remember not all Clevelanders are like this and not all us baseball fans are like this. Yes, This behavior should have ended and needs to end, yesterday.

As much as I am proud to say that I was born and raised in the Greater Cleveland area and am a baseball fan. After all, I still remember going to Lake Front Stadium and watching the Indians lose, which back in the 60's and 70's, they did most often. I remember going to the games with my father and grandfather(my dad's father-in-law). I remember it was at those games that I learned how to curse in Czech. ;-)

Image: Cleveland Indians fans cheer during the American League Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Progressive Field on Wednesday (© Jason Miller/Getty Images)

But, This Behavior should have ended. It is not honoring anyone, but rather insulting everyone. It is behavior like this that is the reason that we must re-evaluate what Cleveland's mascot should or should not be.

After all, the truth of the matter is--there are still many Anti-Native American Sentiments out there. We must recognize them for what they are--Forms of hatred and intolerance that is not for the good of society, which in the end--if left to continue-hurts everyone.

I am not Native American, my families immigrated from Europe during the early 20th Century, to the best of my knowledge. Both my grandmothers from Prague; my mother's father from Prague, but--with that there are two stories--One that the family stayed in the Kingdom of Bohemia for an unknown number of generations before immigrating to the U.S. and the other that the family was German which sailed out of the Kingdom of Bohemia, the same way that an Ohioan drives though Pennsylvania to get to New York, which one of those two stories is the correct one, no one knows, most especially, me. As far as where my father's father is from, no one says, he came with a Polish name, but all my father's family ever talked about was being Czech. Either he was Polish and ashamed of being so for one reason or another, or he really did grow up someplace else and did not feel Polish--that is another family mystery that may never get solved.

The point being is I got my own lesson in ethnic sensitivity. A few weeks ago, when I went to church, I was having a bad hair day, so I wore a head band around my head to keep my hair out of my eyes. Sadly, to one of the senior members of the congregation, he saw it as me dressing up as a Native American. I remember explaining that it was simply me having a bad hair day, which I thought that he understood. Well, I thought he did, until he made that hand jester to his mouth, mocking the Native Americans........ :`-((((((((((((((((-------YES, Cleveland, We Can Love Baseball and Our Team, BUT WITHOUT MOCKING THE NATIVE AMERICANS WHO WERE HERE FIRST--THAT IS A DISSERVICE TO EVERYONE.
