It is Still the Economy-

-Unless, we continue to pick each other up, we are still in trouble. That Government Shut-Down by the Republican Party definitely put the 'brakes' on the recovery--but we can't blame them for thinking with their wallets, but we can vote them OUT OF OFFICE!!
This is a Global Economy, so let us build up the Global Economy>>>

Obama: Nuke deal blocks Iran's path to bomb Associated Press

GENEVA (AP) — Iran struck a historic deal Sunday with the United States and five other world powers, agreeing to a temporary freeze of its nuclear program in the most significant agreement between Washington and Tehran in more than three decades of estrangement.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani endorsed the agreement, which commits Iran to curb its nuclear activities for six months in exchange for limited and gradual sanctions relief, including access to $4.2 billion from oil sales. The six-month period will give diplomats time to negotiate a more sweeping agreement.

Our second report on the nation’s worst governors includes 18 — six of whom are the worst of the lot, six others whose conduct raises serious questions about their leadership, and six others who engaged in some action suspect enough to suggest their decisions merit close scrutiny.

Some governors on the list essentially turned their authority and regulatory agendas over to special interests. Others abused their office in return for gifts and campaign contributions. Many appointed donors to key positions and gutted transparency measures. All failed to live up to the public trust.

Until publishing its first report on the nation’s worst governors in 2010, CREW primarily focused on the ethics of federal government officials. CREW chose to look at governors because their actions have a major impact on public welfare, but state ethics issues often escape attention.

Now, with Washington mired in partisan gridlock, much of the legislative action takes place at the state level. As a result, it is critical that governors’ conduct be beyond reproach.

In Support of the People--The People For The American Way!!!!

I am passing on this email, for personal reasons I am limited at the moment by how much I can afford to donate--but I do support People For The American Way--so I am supporting this most worthwhile cause the best way that I can--which is by passing on the email and hope others sign the petition.
And If You Can Comfortably donate--please do-Thank You.\

Well, at least, I am limited at the moment, I have many applications out and about. I got a phone call that sounded promising--I took an aptitude test, which I did my best. I hope and pray that I did not blow it.  I am still waiting for the results of my latest Accounting Exam--which was on the Account Books of a Fictional Service Company--I balanced the books, so I am hoping that that was a good sign that I did well on the exam.

Tell YouTube to reinstate Right Wing Watch's account and take steps to stop abusers of its takedown policy.
PFAW’s work to expose Radical Right leaders in their own words is being drastically hindered because of one right winger’s unscrupulous abuse of YouTube’s copyright takedown policy.
YouTube’s policy states if an account has three simultaneous complaints filed against it, the account is automatically taken down -- even if those complaints are completely frivolous and are all filed by the same person.
Former Navy chaplain Gordon “Dr. Chaps” Klingenschmitt -- whose outrageous assertions about President Obama, demons and the “homosexual agenda” are a regular focus of Right Wing Watch -- has exploited YouTube’s policy to get Right Wing Watch’s YouTube account taken down not once but twice.
Make no mistake: As we did last time, we are challenging this takedown via YouTube’s normal procedures and are sure we'll get our channel back up.  But the process is slow -- even for absurd claims like Klingenschmitt's.
Right now, Klingenschmitt and his allies are bragging to right-wing media outlets about how they “took down” a liberal watchdog group. They’re being emboldened to repeatedly abuse YouTube’s rules again and take advantage of similar rules on other platforms to censor “fair use” video and audio content that exposes their bigotry and extremism.
The video clips Right Wing Watch uses are the basis for much of the news we break about the conspiracy theories and bigoted attacks being promoted on the Right. They are used by newspapers, blogs, researchers and on TV shows like the Rachel Maddow Show and the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Now, because Gordon Klingenschmitt is planning to run for the Colorado state legislature, he wants video clips of his own public statements taken down. That’s no surprise, considering some of his claims, like:
  • President Obama has been 'ruled by up to 50 different evil spirits'
  • Wendy Davis is “ruled by a demon of murder” and should be prosecuted
  • ENDA promotes bestiality and under ENDA, “Christians will be bankrupted” and “starve to death”
  • There is a “demonic spirit inside of [Sen.] Jeff Merkley”
  • The FCC is letting demonic spirits “molest and visually rape your children”
  • The demonic spirits inside the homosexual agenda are trying to recruit your kids
If you think it’s wrong that the subject of a watchdog group -- be it a corporation, a government agency or a Radical Right hate-monger -- can abuse YouTube’s policy to “take down” the group watching them, then YouTube needs to hear from you.

Wal-Mart Holds a Holiday Food Drive – For its Own Employees

As the holidays roll closer, a number of companies will be looking for ways to help those who are less fortunate. Some will raise money for charities, others will solicit donations of toys or warm clothes for children. Wal-Mart, the mega retailer that consistently ranks in the top first or second slot among Fortune 500 companies, is also doing something for those in need, with one store in Canton, Ohio, seeking food to help those who can’t afford the groceries for a full Thanksgiving meal.
The difference? They are doing it for their own employees.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Canton store is having a food drive, with tubs located in the employee break room to collect items for other associates working at the location. “Please Donate Food Items Here, so Associates in Need Can Enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner,” says a sign located by the bins.... Recovery Growth Led by Women

Small Businesses

Female Entrepreneurs on the Rise

A recent study shows that one demographic leads all others in recent economic growth.
The stagnant American economy of the early 2000s had one bright spot, and what crippled U.S. business only strengthened the female entrepreneur:
  • Women-owned businesses now account for 29% of all U.S. businesses
  • Since 2007, women-owned businesses have added about 175,000 jobs
  • The number of businesses owned by minority women has more than doubled since 1997
Read on to see how women outpaced all others in recent economic growth:

This is why we must support small businesses--so they have absolutely no excuse to use, abuse their employees and or customers and or clients.

This is why there is a petition that needs support.

Beck Energy gains support in Munroe Falls Supreme Court case

by Jeff Saunders | reporter Published:
Munroe Falls -- Weeks after the city received support in its fight for control of oil and natural gas drilling within its boundaries, the opposing side has received similar support, including from the state itself.
A number of entities filed friend of the court briefs in the Ohio Supreme Court on Oct. 28 in support of Ravenna-based Beck Energy.
These include a brief from Ohio Attorney General Michael DeWine, signed by State Solicitor Eric E. Murphy.
Other briefs were filed by the Ohio Contractor's Association, the Ohio Oil and Gas Association, the Ohio Aggregates Association, the American Petroleum Institute, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18, the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce, and eight companies identifying themselves as "active oil and gas producers engaged in the development of the Utica Shale in Ohio."
"It doesn't surprise me," said Mayor Frank Larson Nov. 13. "Both sides are going to get as many [briefs] as they can."
The briefs follow friend of the court briefs filed in early September on behalf of the city by the cities of Broadview Heights, Euclid, Mansfield, and North Royalton, as well as Heath, a city in Licking County, and Amesville, a village in Athens County.
Other briefs filed in support of Munroe Falls in September include a group of about a dozen health care professionals and an organization called Physicians, Scientists and Engineers for Healthy Energy, and a group of "Ohio local businesses," including agricultural, retail food service, landscaping, electric services, real estate and tourism businesses.
The issue began, city officials say, in March 2011 when Beck Energy brought in a bulldozer to construct a driveway in support of planned drilling operations on private residential Munroe Falls Avenue property. The city said Beck did not have zoning and building permits from the city and issued a stop work order....READ MORE!!!!!

What War On Christmas--Certainly not on Christmas Shopping.

Sarah Palin’s New Book About the “War on Christmas,” As a Recipe

Ingredients include calls to action, evangelism and offhand comments about wild things that could only happen in Alaska

Sarah Palin ends her new book, Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas, with a collection family recipes—starting with Christ moose Chili. They are the capstone of a 200-page journey through Palin’s vision of the “war on Christmas” that ranges from Constitutional law to culture wars, from fact to fantasy, from Bristol to bear skulls....

After all, there are Christian Radio and Television Networks. In a matter of fact, the secular cable channel--the History channel in currently re-running the mini series--The Bible, which is mostly about Jesus. If you feel like reading there are Christian Books of every category. The question is Can A Non-Christian Be Elected President of the United States???

But, Yet, There Are Many Christians who moan and complain about being persecuted for their faith, but refuse to say how that is happening. Just because not every single Christmas song is about Jesus does not mean he is not there. But, it does mean that people do not need to have Jesus shoved down their throat 24/7.

Let us let other celebrate or not celebrate Christmas how each person sees fit--After all, if more people enjoyed the holiday, maybe--just maybe Christianity may become something to enjoy too, instead of a job.

If I am sounding harsh about Christmas--I am sorry--I am not in the Christmas Mood--Lord, Forgive me, but I just do not feel like having Jesus shoved down my throat. I am sorry that I am rather busy with life at the moment with too many things on my mind---Such as the rudeness and crudeness and lying, cheating and stealing done in the name of Jesus--to celebrate Christmas, yet.

Gender Equality--Then and Now--Yes, It is still about the economy.

Cave Women Rocked: Science Shows Prehistoric Gender Equality

To Read 1-3 and more on 4 of Piper Hoffman's article click ^^^^^^^.

4. Men Cared for Children
Today’s younger generations are exploring the radical possibility that women are not uniquely gifted with superior diaper-changing skills. Our species figured that out thousands of years ago. We just forgot.
A study out of Northwestern published in American Anthropologist argued that way back when, fathers carried, bathed, fed, taught and played with children. The study’s author, Lee T. Gettler, argued that if fathers had shirked this kind of labor, humans could not have evolved into the big-brained world conquerors we are today.......
As interesting as this is--I must confess that I have issues with this presumption, yes there are some deadbeat dads, but to assume that the only reason that a man does not spend time with family is because he is a deadbeat dad is GROSSLY UNFAIR TO THE MALE GENDER. After all, how many more Fathers would spend more time with their families IF they could afford to spend more time home and less time at work???? How much of this problem is really a lack of a living wage????

So how can we afford men more time at home, with women having hirer wages and men too. After all, as sure as it is unfair for all the housework and child raising to be left to the 'Mom' it is also unfair to place all the financial burden on the 'Dad'.

  • 5 Reasons Fracking Is a Death Sentence For Arid States
As we move into a time of unprecedented climate change, many are worried about where we’ll find enough food and energy to sustain nearly 10 billion people. Food and energy are big demands, yes, but few seem to realize that without an adequate supply of drinking water, neither will matter. Water is the new oil, and there are parts of the world that have already run dry.
