Handel Lies to Spin Komen Controversy

The controversy involving the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation, and their attempt to politicize their charity, making it a Republican tool to wield against women, has barely faded from the news.  However Karen Handel, failed Republican candidate for the Georgia state house, and Sarah Palin’s Teabagger protégé, is already telling lies and spinning the controversy to make it appear that they are the victims of Planned Parenthood, not the other way around that really happened.

Former Georgia Secretary of State and Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation vice president Karen Handel appeared on the 700 Club [pseudo-Christians delinked] today where she blamed the controversy of Komen’s decision to stop funding Planned Parenthood’s clinical breast cancer screenings and mammogram referrals…on Planned Parenthood. Handel, who as an unsuccessful Republican gubernatorial candidate in Georgia pledged to defund Planned Parenthood, acknowledged her role in convincing the organization to break ties with the women’s health group, but claimed that she was not the sole authority behind the decision.

As an Independent Moderate whose Mother died of Cancer, I find this very very offensive that Greed people such as these would use a worthy cause, such as saving lives for their own selfish gain of the Republican Party and Pseudo-Christians of the 700 Club. Worst of all, thanks to the 700 Club the name of Jesus is now become the Source of Evil and Corruption.                                                                        

Susan G. Komen, For the Love Of Mercy, clean up your act. There are many Moderates and many Liberals who have been your supporter the very ones you now are stabbing in the back. Stay Out Of  Politics!!! You are suppose to be a Charity working to cure a disease that has taken many lives. We Americans differ on Politics, but yet we Americans can and do Unite for a common cause. When you get political you a harming those who would help you and Worst you are harming those who               need   you  by preventing a cure for                                                                                     Cancer.                                                                                                               
       
I know because I have gone back to supporting your cause but I would not have done so If I had known that you have been deceitful.
