It looks like major industrial projects in the World Heritage area may be approved by our governments before they've finished their strategic assessment! We must ensure this doesn't happen - these projects should not get approval while the assessment...

Brion McClanahan has suggested those who receive Food Stamps should not be allowed to vote, must be drug tested, not allowed to shop among the rest of society, given generic poor quality food. What next, the poorhouse and work houses of the past?

We just found out that Shell Oil is suing Sierra Club and several other environmental organizations over Shell's plans to drill in the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas -- the Polar Bear Seas -- of America's Arctic this summer.

This is just pathetic. Any decent human being should have the courage to outright denounce Rush Limbaugh’s vile attacks on Georgetown law student and women’s rights activist Sandra Fluke.

But even after Limbaugh called Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute”, all Republican leaders can do is offer B.S. responses.

Mitt Romney: “I'll just say this, which is, it’s not the language I would have used.”

Rick Santorum: “He's being absurd, but that's you know, an entertainer can be absurd.”

Finally, Speaker Boehner, refusing to speak for himself, had his spokesman say only that Rush's words were "inappropriate."

Tomorrow, Republican Leader Cantor will have a national platform on “Meet the Press” to finally outright condemn Limbaugh. Let’s make sure he knows we’re watching and we won’t let him weasel out of this one.
