Responsibility, Yes--That's Is Indeed Something We all have.

Attention! Attention!--This Fight is For Anyone, but especially Senior Citizens who were Stupid enough to have Voted For Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan>>>>

I hope you saw Patrick's email at the end of last week. After Patrick led the fight for an amendment that would help to protect our veterans and seniors from drastic budget cuts, Paul Ryan had the nerve to say it was "silly". But, thanks to you all, thousands of you stood up and said that protecting our veterans is never silly.

Thank you to all of you who signed our petition demanding that Paul Ryan stand up for veterans not his fat cat friends. If you haven't signed, you can still - click here to add your name to deliver a powerful message to Ryan.

Together, our voices have delivered a powerful message to Paul Ryan and to Congress and it's all because of you and thousands of others like you.

Thank you again for all that you do!

Subject: Paul Ryan: protecting veterans is silly?

To: Dear Reader, this is not my fight, after all, I Voted For Obama/Biden;

Yesterday I took to the floor for the first time and proposed an amendment that would, simply put, protect our nation's veterans and seniors from future drastic budget cuts to Medicare and Social Security.

Paul Ryan said that my amendment to protect our seniors and veterans was "silly" and "partisan." It's pretty shocking that Paul Ryan and the GOP won't even compromise to protect our veterans. That is why I started an online petition to Paul Ryan that he join me and protect our veterans -- because helping servicemen and women is never silly.

Click here to automatically sign the petition today and demand that Paul Ryan protect those who have served our nation so valiantly from drastic future budget cuts.

We must put partisan bickering aside and work together for the sake of our nation. While it is important that the GOP did not force us to default on its debts, we need to also protect some of our most vulnerable citizens. There's nothing silly about it. Click here to make sure Paul Ryan knows how you feel.

- Patrick

Well--Well.

Post Scribe---Sorry If that sounded like a cold-blooded, cold hearted Republican--but, one lesson that I remember learning while canvassing the neighborhood, where I met one angry old Republican and another angry old Republican, after another--after another . . .  who were all very proud to tell this person that they were voting for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan who now look forward to cutting Medicaid, so that the rich can get tax cuts. Well, from the phone calls and from the senior citizens that I met and talked to on the telephone--This Is What The Seniors Wanted.
