Actually, this should come to no surprise. After all, I remember back in the day, when metal detectors were first placed in airports, long before 9/11--What the NRA called a 'solution' was to call for the invention and creation of plastic handguns, in order to get around metal detector--IT IS A GOOD THING THAT THE NRA FAILED AT THIS--JUST THINK IF THE NRA SUCCEEDED--THEN ALL POTENTIAL TERRORISTS WOULD HAVE TO DO--IS START BUYING PLASTIC GUNS AT GUN SHOWS, WHERE THANKS TO THE NRA THERE ARE NO BACKGROUND CHECKS.
This is one of the many problems that the Republicans are causing--Any and Every One that President Obama nominates for any office Becomes A Potential Enemy of the State.
WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE, OHIO, YOU SHOULD HAVE VOTED BOEHNER OUT OF OFFICE, NOW HE HAS TWO MORE YEARS TO CAUSE PAIN AND SUFFERING.
