Maybe it's me, but I find it rather interesting---That we Christians whine and cry every time a Christian Symbol is taken off of public lands, but yet there are many states that have laws against Sharia Law. We whine and cry about Religious persecution, but yet, the candidate running for President of the United State must first and foremost prove that he/she is a Christian.
May be it's me, but last night, I went to the Cinema and saw the Metropolitan Opera perform-->
The Roman Emperor Tito had a line--That faith that comes from Fear is meaningless--All I could think at the time was--If only we Christians could remember how true that is---Even or Especially in relationship with Jesus--which is why people were given the Free Will to either accept Jesus or reject Jesus--Either way-Judgment is not our job. Most especially, as sure that being Christian does not secure that the person is a good--honest--trustworthy person, being a Non-Christian does not secure that the person is a bad-dishonest-untrustworthy person, either. We are each and every one of us individuals--some better-some worse than others--Religion tells us very little--too little for that to be the measure by itself.
