After all, I imagine that the Religious Right is as angry with him today as the day that that song was released, September 9, 1971.

After all, how many Holier than thou, born again Christian Extremists/ Fundamentalist who blame the victim, because she committed the sin of getting drunk and the wages of sin is death, they would say that if he raped her that she would be getting what she deserved. And, yet, they claim to preach of a loving god. What ever happened to Grace being we get what we do not deserve, because Jesus paid the price for our sin at the Cross.  Yet, they, claim that the left denies God, by disobedience to the Law.  

Well, all I have to say to these Christian Extremists who are under The Law is that I do hope that they have their sacrifice properly prepared and that it is goodly lamb without spot or blemish, as the Law said it should be.  

In addition, as much as Christian Extremist claim that they are being persecuted. The fact of the matter is, from my personal experience, if there was or could be a fair and unbiased study done on 'bullying' we would find the it is the Children of Christian Extremists who are doing the 'Bullying'; which is the exact opposite of being persecuted. Then, again, I have seen how some of these 'Holy Ghost Filled Pain in the asses' walk around as if they have the god given right to Lie, Cheat and Steal, as long as they do it from those whom they can accuse of 'Witchcraft'. Should We Not Be Surprised That Their Children Would Receive The Same Blessing When They Beat Up Some One Whom They Can Call 'Gay'??? 

And by the way, RAPE IS WHY WE NEED TO KEEP ABORTIONS-LEGAL. WE CAN NOT NOR SHOULD NOT TAKE ABOUT CRIMINALIZING A WOMAN CHOICE UNTIL AFTER AND ONLY AFTER THE CRIME OF RAPE ENDS--THEN WE CAN HAVE THAT TALK--BUT AS LONG AS THERE IS A CRIME OF RAPE, THEN ABORTION NEEDS AND MUST REMAIN A VERY LEGAL AND SAFE OPTION FOR THE GIRL/WOMAN WHO WAS THE VICTIM OF THAT CRIME.
