For Your Consideration--After all, Action Is Need, because This is so very--very personal, indeed

Dear Readers, I am passing this e-mail on, because I know first hand how and why teachers should not be bullies. After all, my early years of schooling were not easy, which were made only harder by a 1st grade teacher who acted as if I was sent to the principal's office for a spanking, back in the day when wood paddles were used, that she could spank me into getting better grades. It did not work, all that ended up happening was that I learned to hate school and for a time--most painfully shy student there, which lead to even more problems in school. Since then, spanking has become illegal, there is no excuse for this--After all, if action is not taken then the class will only learn one lesson that it is OKAY To Be A Bully--That is the WRONG LESSON!!! The class needs to see this teacher punished so that they can learn that the lesson the teacher was giving was wrong.If Not then, we are, by silence endorsing the lesson that bullying is OKAY--This is Why I am sharing this--Read-Sign-Share-Like--Enough Said--Thank You For you Consideration

I recently signed a petition to demand justice for a middle schooler whose teacher did nothing as he was brutally bullied by his peers. Will you join me?

Cell phone video recorded by students in Gig Harbor, Washington show the young boy being dragged around the classroom, having chairs stacked on him and getting a sock shoved in his mouth. Reports say that while the kids tormented tormented, a teacher watched and even participated. The abuse was so bad the student had to switch to a private school.

Teachers are supposed to teach our kids math and reading, but also how to be good people. As the adult in the room, no teacher should permit emotional and physical bullying of any student. Period.
Gig Harbor needs to get to the bottom of this and take serious, punitive action to show the community -- and the country -- that bullying will not be tolerated.
