Wednesday Afternoon--Part II--Reality Check--a.k.a bad news and The Good News

Muppets Break Ties With Anti-Gay Chick-Fil-A, Franchise Lies About Disappearance of Muppet Toys in Kids Meals

Chick-Fil-A accuses Henson Company of making unsafe toys.

This photo was posted by Wipe Out Homophobia on Facebook group with the caption:
WHAT A COINCIDENCE !!!!!!
The sign explains to Chick-Fil-A customers that a Muppet giveaway toy is no longer available because there were "safety issues." It reads:
We apologize for any inconvenience but as of 7/19/12 Chick-Fil-A has voluntarily recalled all of the Jim Henson's Creature Shop Puppet Kids Meal toys due to a possible safety issue.
Wipe Out Homophobia's caption is an ironic commentary that this is not, in fact, what is really going on. On July 20, the Henson Company publicly announced they were severing their ties to Chick-Fil-A in protest of their political activism on the issue of LGBT rights. This includes not only President Dan Cathy's incendiary rhetoric, but over $3,000,000 dollars in donations to groups on Southern Poverty Law Center's hate groups list.    Read more

If only Dan Cathy kept his big mouth shut. After all, he is not here to judge anyone. I know, neither am I, but it was because he opened his big mouth that the Muppets pulled the toys from his company, but instead of telling the truth, the company came up with a line of B***S*** about Safety Issues--This begs the question--If Dan Cathy truly believed that he was doing the Will of God by being anti-Homosexual then why not say so on the sign that that was why there are no more Muppet Toys--That is IF Dan Cathy Truly Believes that Jesus called Dan Cathy to be that Judgmental???

WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE--IN THIS ERA OF MASS COMMUNICATION--NOTHING-ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS DONE IN SECRET--SO ONLY A FOOL EVEN THINKS THAT THEY CAN LIE THEMSELVES OUT OF ANYTHING--THOSE DAYS ARE GONE--GONE WITH THE COMPUTER--GONE WITH CELLPHONE CAMERAS--GONE WITH FACEBOOK--GONE WITH TWITTER--GONE--GONE--GONE AND NOT COMING BACK ANY TIME SOON.  SO People--especially Christians--must learn to keep it Real, that is life without lies--life without deceptions, because we all now live in fish bowls.

Dear Reader,since I have joined that means this blog has joined also. After all, this blog is also an extension of myself and how I reach out to be a Global Citizen;
It's because of your efforts that we enjoy doing what we do. It is our phenomenal activists that make this organization great. Without members like you we are nothing more than a name and a dream.
The threats to world peace and stability are almost too numerous to list;  the potential of a costly war in Iran, addressing climate change, and preventing a costly war in Iran, addressing climate change, and stopping the illicit arms trade that provide the weapons used to violate human rights.
GlobalSolutions.org CrewThat’s why GlobalSolutions.org is building a groundbreaking national online movement for the 80% of Americans like you and me who want the United States to finally take a responsible and cooperative role in the world.
Think of Global Solutions.org as your own White House staffer, boiling down complex foreign policy issues into short emails, identifying the key decision makers and policy solutions, and providing the tools to take action on the issues that matter to you. We won’t crowd your inbox or Twitter feed, but will periodically bring to your attention problems that demand action.
Most Americans understand that international cooperation is essential to build a safer and more secure world. Some of us are passionate about human rights, ending genocide, eliminating nuclear weapons, or preventing war. We want to manage climate change, stop the global spread of AIDS, or improve institutions like the U.N. While we may differ on priorities, what binds us together are our shared values. . . .
