More Hard Truths.

Rep. Steve King Defends White Nationalist at CPAC

Overt racism becomes mainstream this year at CPAC

Appearing today at the CPAC panel discussion that featured white nationalist icon Peter Brimelow: Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King.
Rep. King has read all of Brimelow’s books, but claims he hasn’t seen any evidence of racism or white separatism.
Washington, D.C. — Iowa congressman Steve King is unconcerned about the implications of his appearance during a CPAC panel on “The Failure of Multiculturalism” featuring a white nationalist author, Peter Brimelow.
“I don’t know anything about that,” King, who came to the event to talk about his English Language Unity Act, told BuzzFeed — though he’d earlier told Brimelow that “I’ve read all your books!”. …
King added that he wasn’t totally familiar with Brimelow’s work.
“I’ve taken so much criticism on my life that has just been completely unjustified, you know, a fabrication of the hardcore left,” King said. “I’d want to see whatever evidence that is before I comment on it.”
When told that the white nationalist designation had come from the Southern Poverty Law Center, King laughed. “I wouldn’t take them seriously,” he said. “No, not at all.”
Again, I admit I was a little amazed that a true racist hater like Brimelow was appearing openly on a CPAC panel; but now, when both the organizers and a US Congressman are legitimizing Brimelow’s sick ideology, this crosses the line into downright creepy.
NO!!!!NO!!!!NO!!!! AMERICA'S GREATEST STRENGTH IS OUR DIVERSITY!!! This is why I say God SAVE America. We Need To Be SAVE From the Hate and the Violence and the Anger that has taken hold, if not out right POSSESSION of the American Psyche AND even worse than that--that has taken over far too many of our Christian Churches.
The biggest problem is 'The Religious Right' who are so busy enforcing and calling for the enforcement of 'The Laws of Moses' as written in the Old Testament--a.k.a.--The Torah. That is feels like they have forgotten the New Testament--They are so busy enforcing the various laws, that the only feelings that they are now sharing are now--Condemnation, Hate, Judgment and the like.
After all, Christianity is NOT ABOUT HATE, CONDEMNATION--JESUS Came Because God (the Father--the Almighty) SO LOVED The World.  Christianity is about FORGIVENESS, MERCY AND ABOVE ALL --(((LOVE)))--YET Those of the 'Religious Right' call themselves--'Christians'.

Oh. Dear Lord, Have Mercy, IF that sounds Anti-Semitic, Please Oh Please forgive me!!! After all, that is not my point. After all, the God of Israel gave the Laws to Moses out of Love, but somehow we humans in enforcing the LAWS perverted the Laws into the opposite. We must get back to Love, somehow someway, before we end up destroying ourselves and our world.

Not to forget, ABOVE ALL, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS NOT A THEOCRACY.  We are in fact a Secular Nation, which is indeed Governed by The Constitution and The Bill of Rights. We were established with the writing of The Declaration of Independence, which is why it should not matter at all what religion the President of the United States is or is not. No matter who he Or she may be, they still must take the Oath of Office--"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Not any Holy Book.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney said it best: "Where are the women?"
This morning, an all-male panel of religious leaders testified in front of a Congressional committee about birth control coverage. That's right, only men -- who are not doctors, by the way -- were allowed to testify by the GOP leadership about critical women's health coverage. No women.

It's absolutely outrageous. The all-male GOP leadership is calling on all-male religious leaders to decide whether birth control should be fully covered by insurance plans. We cannot let this happen. We cannot stand by while Far Right Republicans once again try to send us back to the Dark Ages.

Stand with EMILY's List now and tell the GOP that women's health decisions should be made by women -- not by anti-choice, anti-woman men.

Men dictating to women about the woman's body--How truly 'Talaban' of them.
